OFFICIER DE LA MARINE NATIONALE

David Gidon est officier dans la marine nationale. Il sert au sein d’un état-major interarmées où il participe à la planification des opérations militaires françaises.
Il s’engage dans la Marine nationale en 1998 comme officier marinier et devient commando marine.
Sélectionné pour devenir officier, il entre à l’Ecole Navale en 2003. A la fin de sa formation, il rejoint le groupe aérien embarqué et ses flottilles de chasse qui opèrent depuis le porte-avions Charles de Gaulle.
De 2008 à 2011, il retourne en unité commando. Il intègre ensuite un état-major interarmées de planification et de conduite d’opérations militaires à Paris.
En 2014, il est de nouveau affecté en commando avant de rejoindre l’Ecole de Guerre dont il est breveté en juin 2018.

David Gidon is a French Navy officer. He serves in a joint Head Quarter as an operations planning officer for the French military engagements.
He joined the Navy in 1998 as a petty officer and became a Navy commando operator.
Selected to become officer, he went to the Naval Academy in 2003. The next year, he was assigned to the Combat Air Group and its fighters flotillas which are deployed on board the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.
From 2008 to 2011, he went back to a Navy commando unit. Then he was assigned to a staff officer appointment in a joint Head Quarter in Paris in charge of the planning and the conduct of the French military operations.
In 2014, he went back to a Navy commando unit before joining the French War college in 2017 of which he graduated in June 2018.
